hoover-damWelcome to Cormack Consulting, where we help our clients take better decisions with less risk.

Whether decisions are about informing strategy, or to improve day-to-day operations, robust modelling can illuminate the options and provide a solid base from which to move forward.

We can scope, design and build models to meet your needs - or alternatively, we can support you, or your in-house modelling team, by adding experience and resource as and when it's needed.

We're experienced in applying a range of Operational Research (OR) and Analytics techniques and in knowing what approach is best for a particular situation.

Our projects often incorporate one or more of:

  • Optimisation
  • Risk Modelling
  • Forecasting
  • Segmentation

For our optimisation projects we use AIMMS, a powerful, visual and very flexible software platform.

What is Operational Research (OR)?

It is the discipline of applying advanced analytical methods to empower decision makers. Read more at the OR Society's website and Operational Research: The Science of Better

For a better idea of how we work, take a look at some of the case studies from the menu above. Or, better still, give us a call or drop us an email.

We are always happy to have an informal chat about modelling challenges!

Focus on Water

Many of our clients are based in the Energy and Regulated Utilities sector (EURI).

Over the past 5 years, we've played a pivotal role in shaping the modelling approaches used within the Water sector in the South East of England.

We've collaborated with forward looking partners in the Water Sector to develop a range of new tools to help water companies incorporate optimisation in order to meet their business and enviromental goals.

Modelling products include:

  • production planning
  • pump scheduling
  • WRMP Scheme Selection
  • Water Efficiency
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Borehole optimisation
